Columbus State Community College — Delaware Hall Ground Floor Renovations
Columbus State Community College constructed a new bookstore and moved into their new facility in September 2006. The bookstore’s old location on the ground floor of Delaware Hall was left vacant and provided for the opportunity to renovate the space.
The renovated space will be used for the Public Safety Department (Campus Police), storage for the IT Warehousing/Physical Plant Massage Therapy Department of Sports & Exercise Sciences and includes updated existing locker room facilities connected to the Human Resource Wellness program. The Delaware Hall Ground Floor is 32,928 ft².
This project will set the pace for providing Public Safety a permanent and central location on the main campus, and incorporate multiple user groups with new spaces as part of the new campus facilities plan. Dynamix provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technology engineering.
