Dayton Department of Veteran Affairs — GI Clinic Expansion, Outpatient Pharmacy and Prime Care Clinic
This project requires Dynamix to construct an approximate 17,000 ft² addition to Building 340 for the purpose of expanding the Primary Care Clinic and expanding the Outpatient Pharmacy. The project also requires Dynamix to renovate the Gastroenterology (GI) Clinic areas and adjacent spaces on the first floor of Building 330 in order to expand the GI Clinic operations.
The pharmacy expansion will incorporate two offices for prescription intake and counseling related to outpatient prescriptions, 6 offices for clinical staff to be utilized for primary care support, and one room to handle 6 to 8 patients for group counseling.
The Primary Care expansion includes approximately 28 exam rooms, approximately 26 primary care offices, a procedure room, a telephone triage room, approximately 10 ancillary services offices, waiting room/lobby and nurses stations. In addition approximately 4,000 to 5,000 ft² of the Primary Care expansion will accommodate 4 exam rooms, 2 treatment rooms, a triage room, 2 office spaces, a reception waiting room area, and miscellaneous other spaces dedicated to female veterans.
The GI Clinic area will include administrative spaces, bathrooms, locker rooms, Upper Endoscopy (ECD)/Colonoscopy procedure rooms, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedure rooms with control rooms, patient recovery areas and administrative offices.
