Beatty Recreation Center — Renovation of Recreation Facility

Dynamix was involved in a major renovation project at the Beatty Recreation Center. The center upgraded its electric services and air conditioning. The center also wanted to create better supervision of the visitors so the main entrance was relocated closer to the reception counter which includes blocking-up the existing entrance with glass block, creating new opening with new aluminum entrance doors, new concrete stairs, new canopy, landscaping, new building sign and provide new lighting and outlets.

The project also redesigned the first floor toilet rooms to create a women’s restroom, men’s restroom and a unisex handicapped restroom. All locker rooms and showers would be eliminated. The renovations would include new ceramic tile floors base and walls, new suspended acoustic ceilings and new toilet partitions and accessories, replacing interior doors, frames and hardware, new lighting would be provided, electrical power would be replaced as needed, the HVAC system would be replaced including exhaust and new plumbing fixtures would be provided.

Other areas that were renovated were the gymnasium, boxing room, game room, weight room, kitchen, auditorium, courtyard and second floor rooms and stairs.
